Matcha powder is a form of green tea and is said to be the purest form of green tea. Matcha generally comes in a powdered form and can be mixed into teas, cakes and even chocolate recipes. Matcha has more antioxidant properties than drinking green tea alone because when you consume Matcha, you are consuming the whole green tea leaf, not just seeping it to make a tea as you would with standard green tea leafs.

Starbucks Iced Green Tea Latte


  • 1 cup of Whole Milk
  • 1-2 Tbsp of sugar dissolved in a little hot water
  • Ice to fill and shake/mixed
  • Whipped Cream (Optional)
  1. Fill a tall glass with milk. Add dissolved sugar and matcha green tea powder. Stir until most of the powdered bits are combined.
  2. Top the rest with ice and add whipped cream and maybe sprinkle matcha powder on top. (Tip: You may want to add the powdered green tea into a tad bit of boiling water in order to help the powder separate, If not, make sure to mix matcha powder very thorough with milk first) Enjoy!
